Designs involving wide and ultra-wide surfaces (40-ft+) are stunning canvases for content. From a creative and messaging perspective, they offer an incredible opportunity to engage and inform the attendees. Including additional screens left and right of the main stage provides options in design and messaging: use them either for image magnification (IMAG), or upgrade the engineering package and create a super wide screen program moment by connecting every screen.

Event design is the art of visual story telling, using compelling stage designs to highlight messaging and accentuate branding. No two events are the same, but even while some designs will share similarities, there will be noticeable differences in how content and messaging are delivered. Client vision is the first step, and a sound workflow will ensure that vision can come to life.

Not every event calls for an oversized screen or large stage, but every event needs an anchoring brand element. This can be achieved in a number of ways, from a standard printed graphic panel, a reusable fabric panel with internal lighting, or a marriage of brand panel and dynamic lighting. Under less than ideal venue settings, the important lesson to keep in mind is to never fight the venue, but work the design so that it fits the venue.

A foundational principle for event design is to respect the venue. Design for the space. Sometimes all that is needed is a prominent branding on stage, other times it may just be a specific table setting to evoke a positive response, and then there are those moments that require a more, or much more, prominent stage design. Regardless of the need, we always present a design that works for the space, in a style that speaks to the occasion. That is the essence of an effective event design.
